Fury REACTION

Thank you for the suggestions! I also caught myself thinking if I have ever seen a movie about THE tanks.

Hi Kim! I liked your reaction on Fury. The movie Fury is one of the only a handful of movies that have ever been made about a TANK and its crew. Very rare. I strongly suggest you watch the movie, THE BEAST from 1988. It is about a Soviet Tank crew in Soviet T-55 Tank in Afghanistan in 1981 during the Soviet Union's occupation of Afghanistan after their December 1979 invasion. You see the perspective from the Soviets who speak English for the purpose of the movie as well as from the Afghan resistance who speak Pashtun in the movie that is translated into English with subtitles. The film stars some famous actors like George Dzundza and Jason Patric as members of the Soviet tank crew. Also Steve Baldwin is a member of the Tank Crew. He is the younger brother of actor Alec Baldwin. Steven Bauer plays the leader of the Afghan resistance group in the movie. The cinematography in the movie is incredible. Some of the best I've ever seen in a movie. It was filmed in Israel in a rocky and desert type area that resembled southern Afghanistan in 1981. While the movie was not a boxoffice success initially, it has become a popular cult classic! I strongly recommend you watch the "THE BEAST" on your channel. Many of your subscribers and viewers may not have seen the movie either and will be very impressed by it.

Yet another awesome reaction to a great WWII movie, one of my favourites. I like the scene where the 3 American M4 Sherman tanks encounter the German Tiger I. The Tiger was the most feared tank of World War II. It was renowned for its heavy armour and powerful 88 mm gun, making it a formidable opponent on the battlefield. The Tiger I was so effective that it could destroy an enemy tank from over a mile away, and its presence often caused significant fear among Allied tank crews. 1,347 were built between August 1942 and August 1944. After August 1944, production of the Tiger I was phased out in favour of the Tiger II. Today, only nine Tiger I tanks survive in museums and private collections worldwide. As of 2021, Tiger 131 (captured during the North African campaign) at the UK's Tank Museum is the only example restored to running order and is the actual tank that appears in the movie. It was the first time a real Tiger had appeared in a feature film since They Were Not Divided (1950).
