Man time flies. A little update is long overdue, so here goes.
Chapter 4 status: progressing.
I often get asked if I can't do a percentage finished counter or something, but I find that pretty hard to do.
Unlike my day job, with Light of my Life a large part of the joy is just going with where my fancy takes me, and sometimes it takes me down a dead end or a lot of extra work. Of course, I've got the main story events all planned out and have a pretty good idea of the work involved, but a lot of the details come at the last moment.
If you were to press me for a number, I'd say where're somewhere between a quarter and a third, but please keep in mind: in the end, only time will tell.
Personal status: upheaval.
As some of you will know, I don't make it a secret that I have a full time day-job, and I'm doing Light of my Life in my evenings and weekends. Or I used to, because I'm currently working full-time on Light of my Life as I'm waiting for my new day job to start, this April.
As with any new job, there's always a period of adjustment, so hectic times are coming, but until that time, I can plug away on what I love doing most, which is making this game.

I found this absolute gem yesterday and ended up staying up far too late playing it because of the art style and interesting story. After finishing Chapter 3, I knew I had to become a patron. I LOVE this game, literally cried during the kissing scene between the MC and the eldest. This is the second favorite Visual Novel I've ever played. Keep up the good work, NRP. I wait for the new chapter with bated breath!
