Mid January Update

I hope the New Year has been treating everyone well. I have been working with Foundry a bit more this month and can't wait until everyone gets to see what is being worked on. I don't have a time-frame as to when that will be though.

Yesterday I removed the oldest of my free packs from the webstore. After talking with several people and getting an email from Roll20 I realized that having my oldest packs be the first thing people see of my work was not the best route to getting new customers. In 2012 Roll20 asked if they could host my free work on their site. At the time I thought Roll20 was just going to be another startup VTT that failed to get traction. I gave them permission and they launched with my free packs available to everyone. Since then I have been the only one allowed to have free content on their site. So when they contacted me in December asking if it was ok if they removed the content I agreed for two reasons. One it hasn't been fair to other artists that i get that exclusive promotion, and again that work is my oldest and not really putting my best foot forward. They will be offering new Free tokens from a variety of packs and a variety of artists.

In the vacancy left by removing the early free packs I have made Fantasy Buff 1, packs 21-53 free. I have regrouped them with new free packs into 5 Bundles. These free packs include all the tokens I made back in 2011 for my Kickstarter, in it I tried to cover the majority of the SRD.

Which leads to what I am hoping to achieve with the Patreon this year. While the tokens in the new free packs are better than the even older stuff there are still a lot of them that need re-worked. Like the Bulette above there is room to find a lot of the older tokens and make them to my new current standards.

Closer to the end of February I will post again and asking you to provide 1 or 2 older tokens that you would enjoy using more if the artwork was better. A name of the token or monster is all I need. I will then do at least 15 of them each month. I will have a channel in Discord where we can keep a list of which tokens need reworked, so that additional ones can be requested.

I will continue working on items and other tokens when I can squeeze them in as well as continue working with Foundry.

I'm looking forward to seeing which tokens will get makeovers this year and what additional tokens are asked for.
