JULY BRIEF

As I mentioned on Instagram, the last couple months have been full of unanticipated twists and turns, because apparently I didn't have enough insanity in my life already???

It all started with heading out of town for a week and a half to see my family up north, and then immediately upon returning my sister's apartment burned down, so we've been trying to get her squared away. She and her dog are both fine, and they're currently staying with me until she can get situated in a new living arrangement. Thank you to those of you who contributed to her fundraiser a couple weeks ago, by the way! She is doing much better now and is so thankful for everyone's generosity. 

Enough about my personal woes! I have been busier than I've ever been before in terms of commissions these last few months, which is awesome but has also made me come to realize that how I allocate my time and attention across platforms and projects will need some adjusting. In addition to my work for Savage Company, I have also been hired to do color work for an Upward Slash comic, which has been a blast working on but will also be demanding a good chunk of my time.

With this restructuring of my schedule, I've made sure to give this platform a little extra love (hence my post today)! I aim to make and post more exclusive art for you guys on here, especially because this feed has been pretty barren and you guys deserve so much more. 

I'm going to start taking suggestions for my next patron-exclusive pieces so I can get a good gauge of what you guys would like to see here. After all, everything that goes on this feed is for YOU. Now's your chance to weigh in on art ideas, pinup girls, characters, etc. that you'd like to see here, NSFW or not. Don't be shy! You guys here are the ones that keep supporting me month after month, which is incredibly generous and you all reserve the opportunity to suggest what you want me to draw next.

I hope all of my American friends on here enjoy your Independence Day today! I, myself, am going to be throwing some burgers on the grill and making some margaritas because I have been drawing all week/weekend and need a little alcohol in my system. I've mostly been running on coffee so it could be fun to switch it up a bit.
