EDIT: I promise this is the last time I'm releasing this version but a last minute "fix" I did last night broke escaping from grapples entirely and it NEEDED to be fixed.

I suspect this will become a bit of a habit. The first release had some bugs due to testing oversight. So I took a day to sort them out, and now here we are with the bug fix release that should make things a bit more stable.

Luxrior V0.0.01 Release

It's been a while since I posted an update saying there'd be a delay, and I apologize for the radio silence on that front. There was a cascade of problems, with my wife getting sick after my dog, and a small bottleneck in the code developing because I needed her to tweak the interface elements a bit before I could resume work. But she's all better now, the interface got improved and then many other things needed tweaking to get us ready to release.

Small delay

As the title suggests there's a small delay on the release of the update. It's close to done, and everything was coming together on schedule for the 21st. Then my dog got sick. She's been taken to the vet and we have a plan to hopefully treat what's wrong, but there's a chance it's way more serious than we can afford to treat. A slight change of plans

Just a quick post to update people about what's going on regarding the Patreon. I swapped over to monthly billing about a week ago in preparation for the next update which WAS aiming for the 14th but has since been re-adjusted to aim for the 21st. Then the Coronavirus situation got a lot worse. More testing!

Just want to run another test. This one is for difficulty, as it were. Specifically, I want to see if with the AI changes the fights are too difficult by the base difficulty now. So, feedback on that would be appreciated.

Also be aware, scenes are currently broken, as characters are being transferred to a new format and that transfer is presently incomplete. You can at least fight Sasha once and Karen twice, but after that, I'm not sure what's working and what's not. Expect crashes if you cont...

An AI Update

Not a huge ton to say right now, but I just thought I'd keep you all posted on what's going on. The combat balance changes have created some...interesting problems within the AI. It fights like a total moron right now. I'm trying to tweak it so that it can actually make some smarter decisions, but it's a slow process. The core problem is that it's designed to optimize for successful attacks. This means that Rest is now the most successful attack, so when it doesn't know what else to do, it Rests...

Just some news

So! Last night, my fiance got the letter about my immigration saying our petition has been accepted. Which means the ball is now rolling for my moving to America. Which puts a rough ETA of about 9 weeks in place. Three weeks for everything to get to the embassy, a month at the embassy, and then the two or so weeks between being told I can move and actually moving.
