The City of Belverant - Settlement Map

On the rocky isle of Adrea, nestled between two large mountains, lies the jewel that is The City of Belverant.

Capital of the Duchy of Caspua, and seat of House Sarma, this great city of marble that stands tall against the waves of the Eastern Expanse.

A city of prophecy and portents, a visitor will find many people within its streets that claim to know the future, from base charatans to the clergy of the Temple of the Fates atop their high bluff, many come to Belverant to peek beyond the veil of time.

Not only the future but the past is also of exceptional concern to the people of this great city. The Colossus of Sarma, that stands tall in its deep water port, is a reminder to all of Belverant’s glorious history. Of a time of heroes when the forces of Caspua held back savages from beyond the great sea and founded an ancient city-state built on maritime trade and conquest.

While it’s absorption by the larger Kingdom of Havan in the year 5AR has diluted its power, the city is no less significant as a hub of trade and the home of The Spear Fleet, that great force of galleys that patrol the eastern seas, ever watchful for the day their quarry’s return.
