Hollywood What If Chapter 476

Speaking of the Dark Knight Trilogy, Batman Begins already grossed $500 million worldwide since its release in June. The movie only has a few theaters screening the movie in North America.

Warner Brothers felt like Batman Begins would probably not surpass $600 million based on the statistics. It was disappointing since they hired Kazir to direct the movie. Some of the management even believed that Kazir was trying to sabotage Batman Begins because $500 million was too low. Kazir and Marvel Comics had a close relationship so they believed that Kazir was a spy.

They were crazy if they believed that. In the first place, a movie grossing $500 million at the box office was a very tough thing to do.

So far there were only 6 movies that grossed more than $500 million this year. For Batman Begins to be part of that roster was considered a victory.

Second, Kazir's passion for the Batman Trilogy was real. This was the first time he signed a trilogy contract.

Sure, it was true that Kazir had no enthusiasm for working with DC to create a Cinematic Universe, but he never did anything that could endanger the franchise.

Compared to their past DC movies, Batman Begins was the best-performing movie.

The people who were disappointed in Kazir's performance were just expecting perfection. Perhaps they hoped that Batman Begins would be like Spider-Man, a movie that grossed $1 billion.

They have to set realistic standards.

Aside from Batman Begins, which grossed $500 million.

Final Destination already ended its screening. The movie grossed $282 million worldwide. Final Destination was a horror movie and this kind of performance was already outstanding. There were a lot of horror movie fans but horror genres were also not popular to most audiences, especially for the whole family.

The third movie that had a relationship with Kazir was Kung Fu Panda. He was the scriptwriter and executive producer of the movie.

At the North American box office, Kung Fu Panda already earned $214 million as of September 10. Furthermore, the movie was released in some countries and accumulated over $100 million.

At this point, the blessing won't be broken. Whenever Kazir's name was written in the credits, the movie would perform well.

Some studios even thought of adding Kazir to their post-credits just to hope that their movies would make money. Fortunately, they were in the right mind and not desperate enough to do it.

...

Orlando Bloom was one of the leading cast of Pirates Of The Caribbean. His role was Will Turner, a blacksmith who was looking for his father.

His role in the series was a bit ambiguous. He was sort of the leading male because he had a lot of lines, and even his screen time was more than 30 minutes per movie.

Still, he acknowledged that the actor who carried the movie was none other than Johnny Depp. And honestly, Orlando understood why. There was something unique about the role of Jack Sparrow.

Lately, Orlando felt like his roles in movies were underappreciated.

Now that Lord Of The Rings was done, Orlando Bloom had starred in many movies. Some of the movies he worked with were Troy and Kingdom Of Heaven.

In Troy, his role as Prince Paris was hated by the audience. Prince Paris was a coward who seduced a married queen and basically started a war. It didn't help that Paris was the one who killed Achilles, the protagonist in Troy.

As for the Kingdom Of Heaven... Orlando thought the movie would be successful because he read the script and it was amazing. Furthermore, the director was Ridley Scott.

But because of intervention from the management of 20th Century Fox, Kingdom Of Heaven lost its essence and failed at the box office.

Orlando Bloom sighed as he felt like his career was rocky these past few years.

If there was a saving grace, it was the fact that he was part of the Pirates Of The Caribbean. No one believed that this franchise would fail.

Kazir Grey was acknowledged as the director who never missed.

Orlando's confidence in this project was close to 100%, especially when Director Grey was the one who was handling the set.

But lately, Orlando felt like something was going on in the set of Pirates Of The Caribbean.

For some reason, the male extras that they hired were all handsome. Like damn, is this a gay party or what?

He had seen a couple of hot men topless around the beach and the female crew members were having a feast in the eyes as they stared at them. Orlando even felt that the female actresses were already staring at the extras.

'Who hired these people?'

Orlando thought to himself.

Orlando was a handsome fella but he admitted that some of the extras were hotter than him. He didn't like that at all, some of these extras might become a threat to his career as a handsome actor.

"Orlando, haha, I can't believe we will see again. Man, you are really famous now."

Suddenly, one of the extras approached Orlando with a wide smile.

"Oh yeah, you're..."

Orlando recognized the face but he couldn't remember the name.

"I'm Aquino. We are in the same acting class in 1997."

"Yeah, I kinda remember that."

Orlando nodded. It was around the time when he decided to take acting seriously.

Orlando recalled that this Aquino guy was an arrogant prick who kept saying that he had a close connection to Universal Pictures and used that to sleep with innocent actresses... Based on his current status, his "close connection" was pretty useless.

"Being hired in a movie like this is very amazing. Orlando, can you introduce me to some of your contacts? Maybe your agent is interested in signing me. We are friends, right?"

The heat of the sun was getting uncomfortable so Orlando excused himself and returned to his trailer. Being the lead role in the movie, Orlando had his own trailer with an air conditioner.

Orlando was still confused as to why they hired so many handsome men as extras.
