Esmeralda sighed and sat down. She was sweating all over, she might go and take a shower to cleanse the scent around her.

"You can leave now."

"Thanks."

Calix paused and turned around, only to see Esmeralda entering the bathroom and leaving him.

Calix closed the door and walked away. It was nothing but an intuition, but he felt like Esmeralda would lose herself if she found the truth. Calix was afraid to see her broken. 

"Mister Romoel."

"Hello, Secretary."

The woman greeted Calix. She was Esmeralda's secretary who worked for her for almost a decade now. 

"President Esmeralda told me that you need a ride to meet your girlfriend. I already prepared it for you. Just go to the helipad."

"Thanks."

Calix chuckled. Sometimes he was wondering who was the real tsundere in the harem. 

"This is a can of powdered milk and baby toys, it's unisex so it's not a problem."

"Let me guess, it's from Esmeralda too."

"That's right."

Calix stepped on the helipad, the pilot was already waiting for him. The flying car was the latest model with a speed of 400 kph. 

His destination was the city of Evitac where he lives. Lou Viola agreed to stay in their house together with Nanny Lola. 

The house was owned by his father, General Andreas Romoel. However, in this time of war, the General never returned to the house. He stayed in the Border all of the time. 

The flying car landed near the house.

Lou smiled as she shed tears. Lately, she was missing Calix. Her mood swings were erratic and she sometimes cry alone. Her emotions were unstable, missing the father of her child. 

"Are you okay? Did something bad happen to you?"

Lou worriedly inspected Calix. 

"I'm fine. You know that I'm lucky."

"Still..."

She bit her lip. War was not a simple occasion, even someone like Calix could lose his life. Every day, Lou was getting stressed thinking about Calix... So she started eating more. 

"You look chubbier."

Calix pinched her cheek and teased her. Lou smiled. She didn't care about her weight. It's a privilege for a pregnant woman to eat what she wanted. 

"How long are you going to stay?"

"... About 5 hours."

"I see."

Lou bitterly smiled and hugged him tighter. It would be a lie if she said that she was not disappointed. She was going to give birth within a month and she was scared. She hoped that Calix stayed with her. 

Sometimes she was crying alone at night. The only thing that saved her was the presence of her grandmother, Nanny Lola. 

"Don't worry, I'll come back fast. I'm going to take a leave once this mission is over."

"Hm."

He assured his woman. He knew how depressed Lou was these days and he wanted to make her feel better. 

Unfortunately, the war was ongoing and his presence was important. His power was needed in the war. Especially when almost every day, a nuclear bomb would attack Dellia. 

"Let's go. Nanny Lola prepared a dinner."

Lou wiped her tears. She was already happy that Calix appeared. 

'I don't even know if I'm lucky at all. I left Lou sad and alone while I'm attending the war. This situation, in my opinion, is not fortunate at all.'

He didn't know what was the gist of this. Does going to war can be called luck? Clearly not. 

To be honest, Calix wanted to marry Lou to give her assurance but so many people were against the idea. To be precise, the girls didn't like that Lou would marry Calix first. They even have to fight just for that.

Nanny Lola was surprised when she realized that Calix returned.

Within that small frame of 5 hours, Calix did his best to make Lou happy. He stayed next to her, showing his intention of being there for her. 

While they were sitting, a strong gust of wind flew by and almost cracked the glass window. 

The two were already used to it because this was not the first time that this thing happened. 

"It looks like the Cannon set its coordinate near our region."

Lou muttered. It was fortunate that the Obice protected them. Still, the Obice could not defend against all of the shots, so the Demi-Gods TA Users intercepted half of the shots. 

Esmeralda and Bronal were busy destroying the nuclear shots. So it was amazing that Esmeralda had the time to have sex with Calix.
