EP 2 pre-production

Hey everyone,

My manager and Eznametorem (The new storyboard artist) have started the storyboard production. We have in total 12 scenes, which compare to episode 1, we only had 8. So you can assume its longer, much longer.

They finished the storyboard for scene 1,2,5 and 12 as of right now. In the meantime, I also recruited an animator. He is currently making some test snippet of the animation in MoHo as he have more experience with such software compared to me. Once he finish th...

Character Design

I’ve finished drawing the rig for Pink, ignore the green hand, I’m using that as an assets. Pink side view is still bothering me, maybe it’s her nose but other than that, I think that’s the final versions ? I still didn’t do lilac yet but I’m 100% confident that the sketch turnaround is her final versions, I’ve been struggling with her design for way too long already 😭

For the storyboard, my manager and another new artist will be working on it while I focus on my study,...

Character design

Start doing the turnaround character sheet of Pink, and updated Lilac too.

After testing Moho, I think it would be better to only have Pink and Lilac rigged in Moho because it would be overkill for me to switch to Moho for episode 2 entirely, especially since it’s 3x longer 😭

I’m getting so excited seeing how far I’m getting to !! I currently have a okay animatic draft right now of the full episodes. There is only 2 scenes out of 7 I’m having an issues but I told myself that’s it’s fine if those aren’t as perfect as I wish. Cuz overall, what I got is looking great yknow :D

I finish the main animatic of scene 7 which is around 2 minute, Yippie !

(Main animatic, is like making the main gist and the rest will be more about cleaning/fixing, changing background, hand lineart etc..) I’m having so much fun with the emotions, you don’t even know. I got scene 2 who is also in a car, so I’m sure I can do it quickly since I already have the poses and background from scene 7
