Hollywood What If Chapter 156

"So it's only 6 months? How about we make it official, with no expiration date?"

Cameron Diaz crossed her legs and looked at Kazir Grey and his agent.

Even Salvatore Barlowe was wiping his sweat right now. He just learned that Kazir was caught in a scandal. His last scandal almost gave him a heart attack. He didn't want to experience it again.

"Miss Cameron, I believe keeping it within 6 months is the best choice."

Salvatore looked at Kazir Grey who was next to him. Kazir nodded and gave him the approval.

"Aww, what a waste."

Inside the headquarters of Paramount, the two sides decided to form a contract. Kazir Grey and Cameron Diaz didn't have a problem with forming a relationship but they both have their own opinions.

Kazir Grey must make sure that John Wick would not suffer from this scandal. So instead of denying the relationship and causing trouble, he might as well join the hype.

As for Cameron Diaz, she wanted a longer duration because her two movies were already released this year. Her next project would be released in November next year. The 6 months contract would be useless for Cameron Diaz and she could not use it as means of advertising. So she hoped for at least a year or longer.

However, Kazir's side was adamant to keep it within 6 months.

"If don't earn anything on this contract, then I don't have a reason to sign."

Cameron Diaz had a good opinion of Kazir Grey. And honestly, she wanted to have a relationship with him. However, it was clear that Kazir didn't want to enter a serious relationship.

"..."

Kazir was quiet for a few seconds.

"So you expect me to accept this contract without getting anything in return? Extend the relationship for a year and I will agree."

Cameron Diaz smiled sweetly. In a way, what happened was not her problem. She didn't have any movie for the time being so the scandal wouldn't endanger her. But it was different for Kazir. John Wick was going to be released next week. The ticket sales of the first week were important to determine the strength of John Wick at the box office.

Well, Cameron Diaz liked Kazir so she would sign the contract but it should be a one-year contract.

"What do you think, Kazir? I'm fine with one year, we can live in one place if you want."

Kazir Grey was thinking seriously.

'I guess I don't have a choice but to use this method.'

He sighed and leaned against the chair.

"Role. I can give you a role in my movie."

"Hm? And what kind of role? For the record, I won't accept a small role. It should be an important character."

"I have the script here."

Kazir Grey gave her a hard copy of the script.

"The Bourne Identity? I think I heard this title somewhere. Is this a novel?"

Cameron asked him.

"That's right. I bought the movie adaptation of The Bourne Identity."

"But I thought you prefer filming original screenplay."

"I never said that."

He could not remember an interview where he said that.

"Well, all of your movies are based on original screenplay. So I thought you don't like adaptations."

She started skimming the script. Her agent glanced at the script, skeptical about it.

'It's based on a novel so it has a strong chance of winning the box office.'

"What's my role?"

"You will be Marie Kreutz."

"Hm, I can see that I have many scenes. I'm interested."

Cameron Diaz didn't have any movies that would be released before November 1999. She knew that Kazir Grey had a fast filming duration. It won't be a problem if she took two - three months to join the filming of The Hangover Identity.

Charlie's Angels would be released in 2000 and it was not urgent. So far, she was just training for the role.

Anyway, Cameron was sold by the idea of cooperating with a successful director like Kazir Grey.

'Fufu, I can use this chance to seduce Kazir. How fun.'

She looked at Kazir. Indeed, this man might be the best she ever met.

Cameron Diaz looked at her agent and nodded. Her agent didn't have a problem. Director Grey had the best filmography these past three years. The agent liked that Cameron Diaz had an interaction with him.

"Okay, I agree. As for the salary, let our agents negotiate with that."

"I understand."

The two shook hands and signed a 6-months relationship contract. Of course they listed their conditions, likes, and don't like.

This kind of promotion was never old. Sometimes, relationship gossips were the best way to catch the attention of the media.

Since Kazir and Cameron agreed on cooperation, Paramount found the best method to promote John Wick.

A newspaper under Viacom announced that Cameron Diaz and Kazir Grey were actually dating! The other media followed and retell the news, especially CBS which was owned by Viacom.

"Director Grey! Director Grey! Can you please tell me about your relationship with Cameron Diaz?"

A reporter from Viacom blocked Kazir's path. A camera was following Kazir as he walked out of the exit.

"If you are talking about my relationship with Cam, that's right, we are dating. But we don't like showing it to the public."

"Since when are you dating?"

"It's private information."

Kazir reached the exit.

"Director Grey! Director Grey, please one more question."

"I'm sorry, I don't have time for that."

A car stopped in front of Kazir. Kazir opened the door and entered.

"Hi, honey~"

"Hm."

However, the reporter was stunned because she saw Cameron Diaz sitting in the driver's seat!

Kazir and Cameron kissed before leaving the scene.

Everything was recorded! That night, Kazir Grey and Cameron Diaz were trending all over the news.

Of course, John Wick was getting promoted as well. If people heard about Kazir Grey or Cameron Diaz, they would always hear the movie John Wick as well.
