I feel I can finally talk a little more about the story now

I wanted to try out some things different from conventional gender bender stories with this comic

1. I wanted the gender bender character to be a mystery, at least initially. kind of like a game of werewolf or, in this case, a warewoman. I felt like it would be a unique approach because we usually see the story from the perspective of the gender bending character,

2. Because it was a mystery, it made sense for the character to have a Femme Fatale aesthetic, where the danger and mystery of the character is part of the allure.

I was initially planning on keeping things a lot more secretive and revealing everything in one major twist halfway through, but while making the story, I sort of realized it was easier said than done because for as much freedom Koikatsu gives me, it was still somewhat limiting in some aspects. For example, I wanted to have a cleaner Victorian/medival architecture and a more noir aesthetic for the environment to visually transmit what sort of gender bender story it would be without actually telling it, but finding assets for the environment was not fruitful.

So, instead, I decided to go the route of slowly drip-feeding information as the story unraveled so that when the story reveals the supernatural aspect, it doesn't feel sudden and jarring. If I get into making hand-drawn comics in the future, I would very much like to try making a similar story to this one.
