Mix & Match: And All The Rest
Added 2025-07-03 21:53:25 +0000 UTCI knew I needed to make some more backgrounds for minor things, but I didn't realize it would be quite this many! The anatomy is just there for context, these previews are all about the action in the back! Hopefully I'm not forgetting anything, and these should cover all the animation needs for the basic system to "work." At least these ones went quicker, they feel less "important" than the real juicy stuff, and I don't really have to struggle with how to make proportions look good and the like.
It's still a really interesting challenge trying to balance a decent aesthetic with having clear visual language for what's happening. I'm still doing all of this sort of just hoping it comes together in a way that looks and feels good in the end, things are finally getting fully assembled on the code end now, so I'm still gonna be pretty nervous until I see all of these actually in action in the gameplay together. Fingers crossed!
Again, this is all my own work, rendered in DaVinci Resolve! The in-game version will be at 60fps for smoother motion, but much smaller, so enjoy seeing all the little details here!
