Chibi Select!
Added 2015-11-04 06:11:57 +0000 UTCAlright! I've been trying to get this one done for quite a while, and I finally managed to find the right artist, at the right time, and Mercury aligned with Saturn and Andromeda and... we got chibi penises!
So the idea here is that the character creation screen has always been a thing people kinda skim over, then complain because they didn't pay attention to what they were choosing. So, this is part solution to that, part sweet new art! When you are asked to choose your species, you'll see six little chibis lined up representing the sex species. Then you can see options for their naughty bits, and "build your chibi." We'll finally see avatar species actually represented by picture! Well, a little.
I'm still thinking about going all-out on just one full-on representation of the avatar at some point down the road. There wouldn't really be any shortcuts with this one-- I'd basically have to commission six separate pictures, each of which have their own slew of variant parts. Expensive! But, in the long run, probably worth it. Anyway, for now, hope you like this teaser of what's to come :3 This means I've got both pieces of art ready for this update, and with like two weeks (or so?) to spare! Excelsior!
