The Sword of Swords

One really cool element that often gets overlooked in this massive project are the SWORDS! Some of them are beautifully designed, and thankfully nobody hurt themselves with one. That's right, some of these swords are actually real. Eek.

Damon Mahoney (above) is featured with an ancient masterpiece which we chose from a few beauties. It's hard to convey just how LARGE this thing was.

Ready for some rapid fire thoughts and sharp pointy things? Continue onward friend!

Damon above showing off weapons of mass destruction. Below we see Michael with a gorgeous sword that is heavily featured in the Tarot deck. I purchased it because it reminded me of a sword you would see in a fantasy setting.

Sometimes you see the opposite end, like in this picture of Ben Garren below.

Others like Matthew (who is amazing) brought his magnificent sword to the session! That sounds like I'm flirting, but I'm serious! It was huge.

Look! It barely fits in the frame! What is it about men and their obsession with giant swords? It really made the photos stand out, and for that, I thank him. <3

Man I really had fun doing the armor there as well.

Others like Chris (shown above) travelled with their weapons out of state to make the project really special. Thank you for your dedication!

People like Megan made holding swords look pretty bad ass, don't you think?

While those like Brandon (not me) wield two dangerous weapons with seductive ease.

Willie showed everyone how it was done with his dual swords of light!

David made being blue fashionable with a sword and handful of pentacles. He was also at the beginning of the project. Can you remember which card?

A lot of you fell in love with Wade's beautiful gaze (his sword isn't bad either)! He's a really good friend of mine and I miss his sweet face. <3

Some (like the lovely Sal) tried to put his sword into things for comedic hijinks! He really slayed this card, and I always look forward to working with him.

Others like Kevin commanded a sea of blood with a Scythe (which is kind of swordy).

Lauren as the Queen of Swords is an easy favorite...  until you see Brie.

Wow Brie St. James looks incredible here.

Did you enjoy learning a little bit about some of the swords in this project? These aren't all of the paintings that feature them in this deck, but I wanted to share a few favorites! Maybe I should also release a book of Tarot documenting more insights?

Hey, I also want to say thanks for your continued support. It really means a lot. I'd be working in some tech support job if it wasn't for you all. That's how important you are. Because of you, I can actually create art for a living and it encourages me to make more. So please know I never take that for granted. <3

Massive thanks to everyone in this project as well, and for their patience while I try to finish it safely during a pandemic.

I'm also tossing around the idea of creating my own video game in 2021. It's still way, way off. But I've got ideas swirling around in my head.

Also masks... Uh wait until you see my surprise on Friday the 13th.

Love,

Brandon
