The Querian Saga (indefinite hiatus)

Episode 1 - Loyal takes Kayne to a doctor named Healthen Stein, once arriving in Vendtumn. Servoss and Button split off to find their own way to get to the Vendtumn twins after falling out.

Episode 2 - After visiting the doctor, Kayne decides to look for Button, while Loyal tries to find Servoss. Kayne finds Button in the Barracks talking with some of his comrades in arms. Kayne finds out that Button is a bit of a charmer and exudes chad alpha mouse boy energy. The episode ends with Loyal's arrival asking Kayne to find Servoss, not because he couldn't find him, but because Servoss was trying to hide and Loyal is bad at that. Button's battalion begins gawking at the guardian angel.

Episode 3 - Kayne finds Servoss essentially being a rat by hiding in dark alleyways in a black leather trench coat. Not suspicious at all. Together, Kayne and Servoss spot the Vendtumn twins and get caught by one of them, Rudikan Vendtumn. This guy is a serious muscle bound warrior acting as a bodyguard for his brother, Ranthor Vendtumn. He captures Servoss and Kayne. To Servoss, Rudikan is openly hostile, as if he is staring down a long-time enemy who he hoped was dead. Kayne on the other hand, he fears. Solely because Kayne smells strange to him. A remark Kayne raises an eyebrow to.

Episode 4 - Rudikan holds Servoss and Kayne captive when Ranthor walks into the room with a business executive from Felluscia. This executive notices the captives and attempts to get under Ranthor's cool exterior by threatening blackmail for holding prisoners in a private cell. Ranthor claps back by saying that he was imitating the success of the Felluscian Sovereign. He goes on to prove how their business deals have proven that Felluscia is more corrupt than anyone realizes. After the executive leaves, Ranthor confronts Rudikan about the prisoners. Just then, Loyal teleports into the room in a flash of light with Button by his side. He tells Kayne that he knew all along he'd be captured, but he wouldn't have let him get hurt. The four of them tell the Vendtumn twins about the Solvent they will invent and that they need to make it fast in order to save Queria. Ranthor and Rudikan are both hesitant, not only due to lack of proof, but also because Ranthor and Rudikan are secretly werewolves as revealed by their old war enemy, Servoss Karn, and are concerned about the secretive ever-growing vampiric threat.

Episode 5 - A plan is devised. Due to Servoss being an outcast of the houses and presumed dead, Kayne along with Rudikan journey around Vendtumn to see if there are any threats looming. There is a joke about Kayne and Rudikan going out on a date as they try desperately to not look suspicious. They do find evidence of vampires and return to Ranthor and the others to inform them. An argument is then had as time is running out, but Ranthor is more concerned about vampires destroying the town he and his brother have built together. Eventually, Ranthor realizes that he has no choice, but to contact the werewolf queen, his mother, Kana. He gives Kayne a letter to give to her and he begins a journey to the Pastures of Artorius with Rudikan and Button. Loyal promises that Kayne will be okay.

Episode 6 - Kayne, Button and Rudikan meet Kana, the werewolf queen. Kana has a different reaction to each member of the little party. To Kayne she feels a sensation of hunger, but also fears what he is. Button charms her instantly (because of course he does) and to Rudikan she looks upon with fondness. He was always her good son. Kana reads the letter Ranthor sends her. The letter tells her that the vampires are on the move and that his home is under threat. While he knows they aren't on the best of terms, he needs her help. Kana talks a little about her feelings towards Ranthor and how he was a wolf in mind, but not in body or spirit. She also talks about her dead husband, Artorius and how his death brought an uneasy stalemate to the Pyrewolf war. She agrees to help, but only if Ranthor opens the gates of Vendtumn to werewolves and reunite the family he once had. The party leaves, unsure of what will happen.

Episode 7 - Kayne wakes up, captured in an abandoned building. Next to him is a tied up Servoss. Both of them struggle to free themselves, but to no avail. Then it is revealed that the one who captured both of them was the doctor who helped with Kayne's sickness. Healthen Stein of House Stein. However, Servoss knows every vampire. He is a member of House Karn, the house of knowledge and secrets. He knows what every vampire looks like and Healthen Stein is not this person. This person is more human in appearance than Querian. That is because this person is in fact, Von Dracul, the time traveler who came back in time with Prince. After being found out, Von reveals a number of things. He reveals that he comes from a future where Kayne successfully returned to Earth, but he also opened the floodgates and let loose all the Querian vampires through to feast on human blood. This action changed the course of humanity’s history, but humans proved to be more than the vampires could ultimately handle. While the vampires were immortal godlike entities with superhuman abilities, sheer human ingenuity overwhelmed them. The vampires were forced to go back to Queria, where there was no blood, and the vampires slowly began dying as a result. Von Dracul reveals he was one of the vampires sent back. He wasn’t content with letting himself die, so when he found a way to go back in time by tricking Prince into thinking he was a fellow scholar, he decided that this was the way to return to Earth and reclaim the former empire by uniting the houses and crushing their enemies, before they became threats. He distracted Prince by damaging the eclipse diamond, not caring if Queria was corrupted or not, and focused his efforts on finding out how Kayne got home. Kayne admits that he doesn’t know anything and Servoss asks why Von is telling them this. By doing so, Kayne can now avoid opening the way to let the vampires through. Von laughs and tells Servoss that Kayne will do it willingly, because he is slowly turning into the first human based vampire, The Blood Emperor. Von also tells them that when a Quierian vampire bites a human, the process of change is slow and painful, but when a human based one, bites another human, the process is quicker. The episode ends with Von biting Kayne.

Episode 8 - Button rescues Kayne by freeing Servoss, who kills Von just before Von finally decides he’s had enough of Kayne and threatens his life. The three of them escape and Button recaps what has happened and how they were captured. After returning to Vendtumn and giving Ranthor Kana’s response, the slow process of making the solvent began. In the night, Kayne and Servoss went missing. Kidnapped while they were sleeping. Loyal went crazy desperately looking for them. Button was afraid of him. Button talks about how he was able to use his skills as a protector to track down Kayne and Servoss. They begin to search for Loyal, but can’t find him. A commotion breaks out which distracts the three.

Episode 9 - Ranthor and Kana have an argument over causing incidents in the town and that the old werewolf traditions are not becoming of the civilized society Ranthor has built. Kana argues that this was the cost of the deal. If he wants her help, he needs to accept his family. When Servoss appears, Kana looks upon him with rage. Servoss is supposed to be dead a thousand times over, but he just isn’t. Even the Wolf queen knows about the ghost of Candellor and how by some miracle he was saved from an absolute massacre perpetrated by the werewolves. Servoss states that this commotion has most likely alerted the vampires and that they’ll be coming here as a result. Whatever Ranthor was afraid of happening, is now definitely going to happen. Rudikan tells Kayne that they successfully made the solvent with some quick thinking on his part. Rudikan thanks Kayne for having faith in him. Kayne leaves with Button to find Prince at the edge of the Realm of Insanity.

Episode 10 - Kayne and Button reunite with Prince who then teleports them to the eclipse diamond. They manage to save Queria just in time. We get a line or two from the bubblegum Prince as he barks orders at Prince, who promptly quits his job as court wizard. Bubblegum Prince is shocked, but decides he was boring him anyway. However, there is a piece of him that will miss Prince. All 3 of them leave the realm of insanity. Prince remarks about how he feels so free. Button asks Prince if he can help find Loyal. Prince’s eyes turn to shock, as if he knows who Loyal is. He requests that Kayne and Button return to Vendtumn immediately, as something is happening there right now that they must be present for. And so, Prince teleports them there.

Episode 11 - Kayne and Button are surrounded by the dead bodies of vampires and werewolves alike. One of these bodies is Kana. Ranthor cries over her death with Rudikan looking bug eyed desperately searching for…something. Screams are heard, explosions, death. A demon rises from the wreckage. In one of his hands is the unconscious body of Servoss Karn. The Demon throws Servoss to the ground in front of Kayne and Button. The Demon lands and chastises Servoss. When the demon lands, Rudikan attacks it in a blind fury, but is forcibly slammed into the ground head first, knocking him out. Through dialogue, Button realizes that the demon is Loyal. Button manages to save Loyal through essentially the power of friendship. Loyal becomes a guardian angel again. Loyal looks around and breaks down over the damage he has caused. Using his amazing angelic powers, he seals himself with Kayne in a moment in time. Kayne and Loyal discuss what Loyal should do. The damage he has done is too great for anyone to bear. So, unable to console himself, Loyal disappears, back to the Archangel council, but not before wiping everyone’s memories of him and what he has done.

Episode 12 - Everyone now believes the bloodbath was the cause of rising tensions between the vampires and the werewolves. The remaining forces arm themselves to finish the other side off for good, when Prince arrives and stops the fighting. He says he is here to take Kayne home. Home to Earth. Kayne is excited by the idea, but remembers what Von Dracul said would happen if and when he returned. Even if he did go alone, he himself is now a vampire. What is stopping him from creating more? Even by accident? Prince suggests another option. He tells Kayne that he knows of a planet in the universe where the beings have too much blood and are actually looking to get rid of it. It would be perfect for Kayne and he could convince the other vampires to follow him. No more vampires means no more fighting with the werewolves, both of which are so tired of fighting, they forgot why it even started to begin with. Kayne asks Prince why he would do this and how he knows so much about this kind of thing. Prince confesses that in the future, Prince's past, he is at odds with Kayne. That they are enemies. He knows some things about what's going to happen to Kayne, but he cannot tell. All he can say is that he has a choice. Earth, or Gypsia. Either way, Kayne will be Blood Emperor, leading the vampires to the land of blood. Kayne says his goodbyes to Rudikan and Ranthor, who have decided to adopt Button as their bodyguard. The werewolves will rebuild Vendtumn and the vampires, including Servoss, will follow Kayne with the lure of blood, in which a sample of Kayne’s is given to each house lead to try. The vampires become essentially addicted and accept the terms without hesitation. While some might stay, they would live their lives in solitude. As for Kayne, he opens the way forward for the vampires. He takes them to the planet, Gypsia.
