I wanted to extend a special thank you to everyone who has been able to stick with me through these last few months! I know things haven't been easy, and I really appreciate you extending a hand to help me make comics during these trying times.
I'm hoping February will be really productive and fun! Lots of new things to look forward to!

I usually go with the tried and true "what color = what emotions" of color language. Like, red is anger, yellow is happiness, pink is love, blue is saddness, that kinda thing. I try to make it as like, basic as possible, since folks already have a hard enough time keeping track of any kind of lore stuff when it comes to Solanaceae. (I can't blame them! I'm not the best at presenting it, and reading a comic update by update unfortunately means that details are always lost.) So yeah, I tend to just use a lot of shorthand and very basic imagery for Battam's emotion magic!!! Also, keeps it easier to draw which is always a plus.

2021-02-03 08:12:34 +0000 UTCDo you have a color palette planned out for Battam’s emotions or do you pick a color as needed when it comes up in the story? I was re-reading recently and was really paying attention whenever Battam’s magic starts manifesting from his emotions.
