Edit: Discovered that there was a border made up of black pixels in the initial upload, these have been removed. A rotated version has now also been added.
I experimented with a new approach to lighting underwater scenes for this render request and I quite like how it turned out!
I'll make an effort to replicate this look for animated works in the future. Whether or not I am successful will depend on my ability to make the particles and "caustics" move (and loop) in a convincing fashion.
In other news
While I am on the verge of finding a good looking fluid solution for the full release of "A Tight Spot" I have not yet been able to get it quite right so far. Unfortunately there is a lot of trial and error involved, configuring the simulation and letting it run for a while, only to have to go back and do it over again. And again, and again. I'm spending a few hours each day doing that, splitting the remainder of the time between "Fine dining" (Update coming soon!) and Patreon renders.
That's it for this update, take care!
