Thank you so, so much for your support this month, especially all the reassuring words you've left me in the comments. As I've mentioned, my creative output lately has been lesser than usual, and while it might be partly due to some kind of seasonal art block (remember last year! Exactly this same time of year lmao), and I know those I can bounce back from, I still want to be transparent about the stress factors that have eaten into my creativity and ability to concentrate.

I have had some, in the grand scheme of things minor health stuff that have weighed my mind lately. Some of it has been eventually positive (health check passed and got on testosterone, babyyhh!! man juice! man juice!), some of it is still going on and at this point I'm not sure if me stressing over it is just creating symptoms that otherwise wouldn't even be there. For example, while my drawing hand is considerably better and not in any real pain anymore, I admit I've grown a bit paranoid about messing it up again. And this, in some cases, has made me scared to draw. I think this is something I'll get over by just... drawing, honestly. And by proving myself that I can do the work in a way that is better for me, even if it doesn't perfectly align with the way I used to do it before.

Secondly, and perhaps even more importantly, patreon's policy rewrite that they dropped this month really -I mean REALLY- messed with my head. I originally wasn't even gonna bring this up, as it's something neither I or any of you can do anything about (other than stare in confusion and scratch our heads), but I guess I do want to talk about it, for my own sanity. For anyone who haven't seen it, the new policy that aimed to clarify what is and is not allowed in NSFW works here basically only served to make things hell of a lot messier and confusing, to the point that me and other artist who don't even do violating art have to be on our toes. It's the whole "is there someone you forgot to ask?"-meme with two consenting adults about to boink, but instead of Jesus judging on the side it's payment processors micromanaging fictional storytelling. It's.... It's really bad, to the point that I honestly find the mental olympics of trying to hop the hoops debilitating.
Right now I genuinely don't think any of my art here counts as something not allowed, but I am confused, a bit afraid, and pissed off about the inconsistencies, hypocrisy and absurdity of what is and isn't allowed in fiction, here or anywhere else on the internet. But, I guess this is something we just gotta sit through and watch how things go.
