One of the more ludicrous panels I did for this episode. I don't usually attempt to do these types of horizontal panels because it involves having to rotate my entire canvas and YOUR PHONES while reading. I cropped out a couple details out so that my paid members could see some of the actual cover that isn't blurred to hell. AHHH, Honestly my assistant "K' blew it out of the water again with this one so I wanted to show off the details at least!

When I tell say I never planned for my comic to EVER be printed I'm not joking. This page is an example of the vertical WT layout not really working in a page-by-page layout (So I reworked/redrew it).

One of the few illusts I was able to work on while I was away from home during hurricane Beryl.
Since we had no power at home, our friends were kind enough to take my partner and I (plus or cat) in while we waited for electricity to be restored. Mari was one of those chars I designed on the spot. Everyone says she looks like a piece of bubblegum but I was thinking more along the lines of cotton candy. In any case I love drawing her bangs and lips the most of any char I'd say.

WIP of a new SZ Illust I'm trying to finish up before Tokyo X next month! The original concept I had for this was #3, where all the chars would be riding on the back of a cloud dragon (Which is why Nouren looks like he is floating/falling here). I never realized how difficult it was to get all these chars to sit in one image, not to mention interact. (Those giant heads are cute but they can't even hold hands because of them).

It's #mermay and you know what that means- an excuse to draw my OC's as pretty ocean creatures! It all started with Raizo (the prettiest of them all) whose design I based on a Tiger Shark, then continued with Kharis (Koi Fish) and Clove (Leafy Seadragon).
I've attached the linework for these as well since some of the "sketchiness" gets painted over in the quick rendering process.

I'm not sure if anyone could tell, but I definitely enjoyed painting the first part of this episode a lot. Kayen's long hair makes him so pretty, and since I don't get to draw him much I try to indulge in it every time.
If you're already caught up with the fast pass eps, you'll know the context of this scene is pretty dark.. but I love all the theories that are coming out of it!
