I think Sage is pure supervillain, pure long game. My theory at least...I know someone like her and the desire to not be bored...is all consuming(hence all the books in top of audiobooks at double speed) but the desire to be left alone is an even higher priority, cos they know how "dangerous" they can be. Potentially, anyways. I can see her sowing seeds of dissension and chaos with every interaction, and considering she knows shit she shouldn't( like who Homelander's father is and M.M.'s birth name)...she's up to some diabolical shit, I can feel it. But I could also all the way wrong. Food for thought, tho. 😁🙃🫠🙃😁

2024-06-16 22:57:08 +0000 UTCSage is smart, but she is not infallible. And i think her biggest weakness is her arrogance and her propensity to underestimate people. (Which is probably why she told MM that she unimpressed with him and why she didn’t expect The Boys to survive that encounter.) She mentioned ancient Greece and Rome to Homelander in their first conversation. Which i think is fitting, because to me she seems a bit like the heroes and heroines in Greek tragedies — with the exception of a single flaw they were often invulnerable. And eventually that single flaw brought them down. Achilles’ flaw was his heel, Midas’ was his greed, Icarus was cocky and Sage’s flaw is her ego.
