currently I'm modelling the helmet for the Royal Vampire Armor. I kind of like the general idea that I had in the sketch, so I only modelled it according to the drawing and added some gentle special effects to the form.
I also fine-tuned some of the existing shapes, like the leather neck piece in the back. Also added a nice bat-shaped decoration over there. I kinda like this type of detail - corresponding with Falka Armor ;)

Here are some screengrabs of the basic bodice shape. I tried to focus on keeping the vanilla concept, accentuating the waist a bit more and adding some more bold skirt and add-ons.
I think that the shape of the add-ons will be quite crucial here as I tried to study on my sketches recently :)

I wanted to share with you guys some more of the design process of the upcoming Royal Vampire Armor replacer.
I watched some real armors online and then I tried to create a second version for the shoulder guard and the elbow protector. I sticked to the bat theme this time instead of the spider and I like the result more. I marked the newest stuff in the second image.
Next week I'm back home and I cannot wait to model the new stuff. :)

A second short trip during my vacation time, and I think quite a lot about the Royal Vampire Armor details.
Did some sketches of the neck piece jewelry and some shoulder guard decorations. I thought that the neck piece could be bat and blood drops themed and the shoulder guard decorations could be spider and Molag Bal themed.
