Honestly still up and down. Some good days, some bad. Trying to make the most of the energy I have when I do have a bad one, so even if I don't Stick To Schedule™, I hopefully have something to show for it.
Let's see how that went.
I started the second loop of the ceiling group for the orgy. It hasn't gone super swiftly tbh, since a lot of my burnout days have been animation days of late. I'm just really struggling to keep an image of what I'm doing in mind for them right now, and that just knocks my motivation right out it seems. I need to figure out what's up and get on with it.
Chapter 12 released for all backers. Have you read it yet?? Have you read my baby?? You should. Read my book, coward. It's full of magic and creatures and titties. It's everything you're here for, but in text form. Do it. Read my book.
For free readers, keep an eye out. I'm intending to get y'all chapter 6 on the usual outlet soon.
I did a bit more work on the whole file management deal for Slime Forest, which included learning about a couple more new UI elements, wrapping my head around GODOT's theme editor finally (it's not that hard, getting started is just unintuitive at first), and overhauling the file selection theme in such a way that everyone can see the file I created while testing out the profanity filter.

As is, all it needs now is its actual functionality implemented, including some sort of delete file confirmation, and it... should finally be good to go??
Honestly such a process and so much to figure out and learn. I think at this point the profile management has involved more effort than coding the actual game part, if only because I had to grope my way through it pretty blindly with a bunch of trial and error. The online courses don't touch on the end-game polish aspects as much, and I've really been feeling it here, but it's solid progress regardless.
I'm also fighting the brain worms really, really bad. Like, they want to think about exactly one thing. That thing involves Midnight dancing around, snapping her fingers, and declaring ACAB with a neon pink explosion. For reasons.

It's a bit of a dream project, albeit the one that started my tinkering with GODOT in the first place. The concept's evolved a fair bit in my head since pivoting to Slime Forest. We'll see if anything comes of it.

I think I did alright, all things considered. I also got Bunallow's monthly calcs done, so that's a solid move I think. We're doing a whole store merger onboarding thing now so I suspect that'll be slightly distracting if I do my part at all.
On the gaming front, I've been slowly working through Starbound with Kaz. We are... markedly farther than I've ever been before! So that's exciting, considering I've spent all these years basically playing up through the Erichus Mining Facility and then getting annoyed and bored before unlocking the next dungeon. I still think the game's progression is sorta jank as hell, but I'm doing alright with it this time. I've even got a nice-sized ship! For once!
I also finally moved the needle on my 3D modelling lessons after spending a long time playing catch-up after not saving my work after several lessons because I botched the damn thing that bad. I don't get a ton of time for it, but it's something I've spent years wanting to learn and improve at, and that previously mentioned dream project is a pretty big motivator atm on getting me moving towards that goal. Wish me luck!
