TW Update #33 - Hellooooooo Nurse!

Hey ho, how we doin'?

For myself, I've been largely working on the script, but also been working on some 'placeholder' images that I'll eventually be building larger models out of- one of them being Nurse Jenny here, the first person you see in the game!

Unlike with the Orientation demo, I'm going to be quite content with just having 1 or 2 static images without changing expressions for this early tinkering phase, with the option to expand them out later as time permits. There are distinct 'character asset' days in my timetable where I'll either be working on poses, live2d rigging or expression work, which this lass here falls under. For now though I just want to get 1 of each such beginner images done.

You may see her with mask on or mask off come the start of the game, or indeed in a couple of other variations- I think each playthrough there will be a couple of unique quirks to some character's appearances that vary based on a random seed...so you gotta catch 'em all!

So far as the script goes, I'll be putting regular TWINE's up for $10 peeps as the drafting process continues, and as I transfer stuff over to Unity during the 2nd-draft process, I'll start sharing those updates over here! Optimistically I'd say that we'd get into the 2nd draft of stuff around this time next month; I'd say 90% of the 1st draft will be done in the next two weeks, as we've most all of the vertical slice of the intro done.

There's going to be a huge amount of new asset creation and programming stuff come the L-D19 Thralling Procedure, and that's where the lag's really going to kick in, but I think everyone's going to really enjoy that aspect of things when we get to it!
