Aurora Borealis?!

So, frustrated with the Bob Ross paint alongs, I decided to try a more simple painting I found online. I actually don't hate it too much! The green isn't as vivid as in the source video, but I don't have any Bob Ross "Liquid Clear", so I used linseed oil instead, and that might account for part of it. And the trees are getting better! Again, I'm going to blame my tools (like a true hack artist! lol) and say that I was working with a #6 fan brush, and I'm told a #3 is much easier, and the guy in the video ended up using a filbert brush. So even if it's not exactly how I had hoped it would turn out, I think I'm seeing progress and I have plenty of ideas to try out next time!
