I created the censored version to display in my book when I sell the NSFW variant print at cons, but I ended up really liking the Luxo Jr lamp and ball so much that I think I might try to use it for something else on their own as well.

More Calendar Girls

Here's some more line art for the calendar I've been working on. To be perfectly honest, I'm seriously considering dropping this project. I'm not 100% decided yet, but I've lost a lot of steam working on it, and I'm just not sure I have it in me to do five more pages and then color all thirteen of them in time to have it done by the end of the year. It doesn't help that I sent a bunch of pages out for flats two weeks ago and I still haven't gotten any of them back, so it also feels like there...

Ai Hayasaka

So my latest anime obsession for about the last week or so has been "Kaguya-Sama: Love Is War", and while I'm still deciding if I'm going to make a full print or not, I did allow myself a couple hours tonight to do a quick sketch of the greatest wing-woman on Earth and canonical Best Girl, Ai Hayasaka. 

Calendar Girls

I'm officially kicking off my latest project: I'm going to try to make a calendar! If everything goes well, folks will have the opportunity to keep track of 2023 with my art on the wall. The theme is inspired by those old pin-up calendars with the models posing with cars but with a geeky twist.

Samus Aran's Dread Armor

Recently, at Gem City Comic Con, I did a sketch card of Samus Aran in her "Metroid: Dread" armor. Samus has had some awesome looks over the years, but I think her basic starting armor in Dread just might be my favorite. So, inspired by the sketch card, I decided to draw the look again, this time as the first in what I hope to be many mini-prints that I plan to start selling at cons. 

More Buttons!

I seem to be on a roll creating new button designs. They're quick and a lot of fun to do. I've also been trying something a little different with my line-art that has made at least that part of the process a LOT faster and arguably easier.
Side note on the series of superhero designs - so clearly I'm going with a 'split-screen' sort of deal with the heroes face on one side and their symbol on the other. Well, I'm suddenly realizing how many heroes just have their mask for an icon. Serious...

New Buttons: Kodos and a couple space commies

So I've sold buttons at conventions for a little while now, but I have to admit it's always been something of a halfhearted effort. I didn't have any real display for them to speak of and only a small handful of designs. Well I've recently decided to try stepping up my button game with a nifty new display/storage set-up, and I'm trying my best to come up with some fun new designs. Women of X-Men: Jubilee

Jubilee was always on my list of characters I wanted to visit on this project, but I hadn't planned on her being next. But then it occurred to me that it being the Fourth of July made this too good of an opportunity to pass up, so here ya go!

Emboldened by my "Spy X Family" print, I decided to try doing one more new print for Anime Ohio, this time featuring the cosplay-themed slice-of-life romantic comedy "My Dress-Up Darling".

Buns of Anime

Finally, at long last, here it is! The complete "Buns of Anime" art book. The physical copies should be arriving this Thursday, but in the meantime, I wanted to share the digital edition with you fine folks as my way of saying thanks for indulging me in this wacky project. Spy X Family

Here's the finished version of that Spy X Family print I previewed the other day. As I said before, I wanted to try having something current and popular for my next convention - far too often I arrive at a show and immediately start kicking myself like "Why didn't I draw something from ______" - so hopefully this goes over well with the Anime Ohio crowd. Buns of Anime cover

Well, it's officially crunch time for "Buns of Anime", my anime characters in bunny suits art book. And as I rush to finish the final pages, I thought I'd go ahead and reveal my cover!

Or should I say covers! In addition to the main version featuring Bulma from Dragon Ball (one of the main inspirations for this project), I'm doing an artist blank edition as well. I've always enjoyed drawing on blank comic covers, so I'm very excited to be doing one of my own.

Okay, so cable isn't hooked up in my room, so I mostly watch streaming television these days, and one of the anime channels I watch will occasionally put the 1988 Appleseed OVA on fairly heavy rotation. It's cheesy, it's dated, and I kinda love it. There's just something about late 80's/early 90's anime that hits different. First Colored Bunny Girl Pages

Hey, everyone! I'm officially into the coloring portion of my Anime Bunny Girl book and I just wanted to share the first couple of pages I have done. It's Hawkeye from Full Metal Alchemist and Rei and Asuka from Evangelion. I think they're turning out pretty neat so far, but there's still a lot of work to do. I'm aiming to have this whole thing done by around mid-May to have it printed in time for Anime Ohio, so wish me luck!

Winter Paradise

So I took another painting class. The last couple of these were a little rocky, but this one ended up being a LOT of fun. Not to say it didn't have some challenges. For those of you not in the know, there is a sharp distinction between Bob Ross the man, and Bob Ross Inc the company.
