My grandmother never used windex, but pledge cured everything, even bee stings:) She cleaned with it all the time and she had a huge kitchen with wood floors. As kids we would just fly through the kitchen in our socks while stealing awesome home made food. My sisters name is even Maria too lol:)

Thank you, guys for the wonderful way you are open and accepting of diversity is very moving. Nia Vardalos, who wrote the script and starred as Tula, also wrote a beautiful little fun movie, Connie and Carla. I HIGHLY recommend you watch it in June for LGBTQ pride month.

She noticed I had scraped my elbow and was in the kitchen with me tending to it for me, when another guest I’d never met strolled through and deadpanned, “Put a little Windex on it.” Best laugh I had that year.

It was something that I had absolutely no interest in seeing, and she essentially dragged me because she didn't want to go alone, so I was in it for the popcorn and the candy. It turned out to be one of the funniest, most delightful movies I had seen in a long time, and is one of my favorites to this day. I'm really glad you guys enjoyed it. It makes me remember my mom, and miss her, but it's nice to see other people enjoy this film as well. ❤️

She wrote this as a play and Tom Hanks wife saw the play and got him to put up the money to make it a movie. I think she is Greek herself and why she loved the play so much. Also the main actress husband was the bald best friend of Ian. So he was the real Ian.
