everyone gives Theon a bunch of crap. But remember. He was the ONLY highborn who had to CHOOSE between two houses. Both at odds with each other. He was the most tortured character, the most resilient with the biggest heart of all. All of the Starks killed more than he did, same with all of the other families. Sure, others had better results. More 'noble', but then again, they had fewer choices. With even fewer options. I believe Theon had the most interesting journey, the most redemption. A true character of our common man today.

The Orcs and Uruk-Hai, didn't multiply, like the Wights, but more could be made by Saruman (The Wizard), could make more. George R.R. Martin was a huge fan of J. R.R. Tolkien's, and there are many similarities, between this show, and The "Lord of the Rings". George R.R. Martin, even said so himself. I wish that G.R.R.M was going to finish his books, but he isn't. He has been on his current book for 10 years, and hasn't finished it, and there were more books than that, that he was going to put in the set. I have the 5 book set. I need to read it.

Then, Arya looked at him, with a smile, just like she did, when she was in the first Season, smiling at Bran, when she had a pot on her head, acting like it was a helmet. That's nuts.

2023-06-07 20:27:12 +0000 UTCI looked it up last night and the writer explained that the Night King now uses that symbol as a sort of blashemous version of the children's sacred symbol by using the body parts. This was an ancient symbol that the Targaryans adopted for their use using dragons. It is used as a calling card to instill fear in men by the Night King, so I was right in my last statement. I was wrong about the first time they showed the symbol. In the first episode the bodies were not laid out in a spiral, rather a circle with a body in the middle. It's still a variation of the spiral though, just connected.

Back when it was sunny there were stones in that spiral with the tree where bran was in the center. It’s a symbol of the first men and the children of the forest, seemingly. Night king was made there so laid it out again. There’s an aerial shot of it and then the scene where they stick the dragon glass into his heart.

Like you, I didn’t realize who Jon was until Bran and Sam were talking about in the S7 finale. At this point of the show, I had no idea what was going to happen, but after seeing Jon and Dany riding the dragons, I was picturing them together spending their Sunday afternoons riding them.

I held off for months watching House of the Dragon because I remember having to wait sometimes over a year for Game of Thrones episodes and it was torture, so I said I wouldn’t watch HotD until it was completely finished and I could binge it. Well that didn’t work and I watched the whole season 1 in like 2 days. Now I’m pissed at myself cause now I have to wait. Hope you enjoy the last 4 episodes. Like you, I’m sad it’s over

The musical score is basically the same theme also. With some variations. Very cool yo. 🧊+🔥

I’m not sure if you noticed the parallels between the very first episode of Season 1 and episode 1 of Season 8. The little boy scrambling up the tree was meant to reflect Bran. Jon and Daenerys’ arrival mirrored King Robert and Queen Cersei right down to the music they played.
