Character Q&A — December!
Added 2022-11-10 17:31:18 +0000 UTCHello!
Since we're nearing the end of yet another trip around our lovely Sun, I think it's time to host a second character Q&A! The other one was so fun, I feel like delving into the character's heads once again.
It can be directed at any character that appears in Book 1 or, if you so prefer, at myself.
Hope you participate! ♡

2022-12-06 16:40:32 +0000 UTCWhat are RO's favorite hobby ?

2022-12-06 06:17:08 +0000 UTCFor the pirate: How was the path to become "The king of outlaws"? And how is it now, after you conquered it? Are you not paranoid that someone will backstab you or that your subordinates will unite against you?

2022-11-18 16:08:55 +0000 UTCWhat would Hadrian or Alessa say, if after MC's and their first time with MC, if MC said they loved them? How would Hadrian and Alessa react?

2022-11-17 16:05:07 +0000 UTCI wonder how does RO's react to MC If they know that They are having children with MC?

2022-11-17 06:53:38 +0000 UTCNeia, if you had to take a vacation (lets pretend they are a thing in the world), where would you go and what would you like to do? I want to know what a relaxed Neia looks like. For the romance characters, what is your favorite place in the world? "Here, Lance," *passes him a blank paper and a pen* "show us baby Chouriça" For the twins, "Tell us the most embarrasing story you can think of from your sibling"

2022-11-16 15:05:39 +0000 UTCAre there any other living members of the Romanus family or is it just our Romanus?
Helen
2022-11-14 15:04:59 +0000 UTCIs Romanus big family? I wonder In Romanus 's past ,when Neia order people in town to seek a Romanus man or woman . and how old was Romanus when Romanus start to join white company ?
D-ZA
2022-11-14 12:41:24 +0000 UTCJust curious, were the twins planning on trying to meet Romanus again after they offered Romanus a drink in the tavern? or did they just believe it to be a one time encounter

2022-11-14 06:20:26 +0000 UTCWhat does Neia miss most about being in her previous position as Head Inquisitor? What constricts are she glad to be free from, if there are any? Does she still keep to her training like Hadrian or has she foregone it? Does Isabella have a favorite breed or coloring for horses? Similar question for Hadrian as I had for Neia, what parts of being a Templar does he miss and which are he glad to be free of?

2022-11-13 06:37:37 +0000 UTCI remembered I had another question. I meant to ask was there any feelings like romantic feelings between Hadrian and Alessa before MC came along? I know they're good friends but I wasn't sure if they ever felt anything besides platonic towards each other.

2022-11-13 04:06:13 +0000 UTCYou probably cannot answer this for all of them - if any at all - but is there anything in their life that the ROs regret?

2022-11-12 08:05:24 +0000 UTCI was wondering how the pirate and the twins feel about the forbidden places we explore. Would they fare well in the darkness? I can’t imagine them being as comfortable as romanus.

2022-11-12 07:53:07 +0000 UTCI was wondering if the ro's have any guilty pleasures? Either they would admit or would prefer to keep secret.

2022-11-12 04:57:08 +0000 UTCI was wondering about Vallen, how did she became a member of the Red Guard? Would she mind sheding a little light on her responsibilities as a red guardian?

2022-11-11 13:09:27 +0000 UTCFirst of all, how dare you write this masterpiece and then make us wait so long for the sequel. Seriously though, Golden Rose checks all the boxes for me. Intriguing story and setting, interesting and believable characters (#Hadrian4lyfe), nice range of personality choices, and it's all written in a way that's easy to follow without dumbing it down. My question is regarding Hadrian. I got the feeling that the church/inquisition is after the Romanus family. Does Hadrian know about them and would the knowledge change his perception of MC when he finds out we're a Romanus. I suspect the answer might be a spoiler so no worries if you don't want to answer.

2022-11-11 12:05:08 +0000 UTCFor an in character ask specifically for Hadrian and Alessa. Hadrian why did you pick a sword as your primary weapon and is there a story of how you obtained it? Same with Alessa, why knives? And do you have a specific set of knives you are more attached to? For Ana, this might be spoiler territory so if you can't answer that's cool. But I had a theory. Was Hadrian's lover also the person that taught him how to do medicine? Thank you for doing this Ana! You're awesome!!

2022-11-11 02:52:50 +0000 UTCHey Anathema, I actually had a few questions for yourself. Your writing is very detailed and flows really well. Best choice story I've read, by far! I was wondering, do you have a background or education in writing? Also, I don't know if you're willing to say much about this. But for the next book are you planning on utilizing MC's personality stats within the narrative? Like something akin to Samurai of Hyuga, where personality sometimes dictate the MC response to situations? Thank you for your time!

2022-11-11 02:27:42 +0000 UTCFor all the Ros ( if you can't do all you can pick!) Whats one thing the mc does or could do to make your heart skip a beat?

2022-11-10 22:24:28 +0000 UTCI might be cheating by asking a character question that also world builds a bit more, but I'm just so curious. In the time period this story is set in, the church in our world frowned deeply upon homosexuality. If the church in The Golden Rose has similar views on the practice, how has Hadrian come to terms with his attraction to other men? I imagine for a former Templar raised with the Church's values; it must've been quite a struggle for him.
