I think that you can watch Boruto however you want. But I suggest watching anime canon episodes as well because for the anime there will be a lot of questions and wondering why things are happening that you won’t understand unless you watch the anime canon. Like Urashiki, you ain’t seeing him again, unless you watch the anime canon arcs. And there’s some anime canon arcs that lead directly into manga canon ones that you won’t necessarily understand everything unless you watch them. But I’m not here to judge and you can watch it how you want to watch it, it’s just a suggestion

2025-10-02 01:53:15 +0000 UTCPeople keep saying "Naruto got nerfed" "Naruto lost his Sage of Six Paths mode!" etc. this is false. here is why. you're mistaking SO6P mode with his Sun seal. he lost the sun seal, that is why he can't regenerate body parts/eyes (like he did with Kakashi). he still has SO6P in Boruto. he just uses KCM with it. HOWEVER. he did technically lose SO6P mode after losing Kurama (Isshiki fight) since the nine tails chakra was necessary to using it. if you don't believe me, there are plenty of videos explaining this on YouTube. a good one for example is "Naruto STILL has Sage of Six Paths Mode?! - NCHammer 23"

It's a fan service time travel story for OG Naruto fans. It's not manga canon, so it's not important, but it's really fun.
