Maybe this is what happens when you watched an anime in a short amount of time, skipped the fillers, and crammed all the info on a speedrun. Now I get why fans who watched the show since their childhood days waiting every week for new episodes and didn't skip the fillers are DIFFERENT from people who are watching this just for the content. I remember cheering for those minor details like Ino's Byakugan-Aided Mind Transfer, the goodebumps I get when they all attacked coordinately, and bawled when Neji died. Instead he was busy roasting every side characters and trying to land his punchlines on every one of them. Like we get it, they are side characters for a reason and you don't like them. Hope he focus more on the story and lines instead of thinking of "funny" insults that he could throw at each characters on this show. Lol.

Now as for Obito, it's interesting that Naruto rubs him the wrong way because Obito sees himself in him and Naruto's resolve doesn't waver. Naruto made him realize that not everyone turns out to be like him and given Obito's been dead set on the dark path for so long, it challenges his ideology.

Kishimoto didn't planned anything for them so that's why they have little screen time. He didn't planned a future plot for them to begin with because they should have died long time ago.

His death was impactful back then though to anyone who grew up watching Naruto or filler, most kids didn't know filler or canon stuff, so they'd have seen a lot more of Neji

I cried like a bitch man lol. Neji’s death still makes me cry but ngl Nick’s reaction kinda ruined the mood for me a little so I tried to ignore his comments and just immerse myself in the scene and feel it. Such a memorable episode for me 😭
