Aside from the Mito family, the arc is really good. Especially the Evil Eye introduction. My favorite Arc is still Space Globalist, but Cursed House is a close second. I remember when Jiji was introduced, I thought I'm going to hate the guy. It turned out he's one of the best characters; the same was with Aira. Season 1 has only just begun, and I already can't wait for Season 2 with Sakata and Vamola.

I know! I’m so looking forward to the next 2 episodes cause I know they’ll make emotional masterpiece of that particular backstory. I don’t think they’ll quite get to evil eye this season. I’m pretty sure they only have 12 episodes for the whole season so most likely they will probably end on a cliffhanger after introducing that arc and introducing the last of the initial main cast. I don’t mind though cause if keeping the seasons short allows them to maintain the peak level of animation and art without overworking, then I’m all for it. Plus imagine starting season 2 off with that arc to give it the time it deserves.

This anime really makes me feel, like if Gantz got an animation this day, with proper care, passion, skills, and time, it would be one of the greatest shows to ever exist (for me at least). I would literally turn into a droplet of cum at the Osaka arc. But unfortunately, the manga is very, very, very, very brutal and has a LOT of nudity and sex scenes that are necessary for the plot, so I don't see any famous or skilled studio making it any time soon. But if you're interested in manga with great artwork, great character development, aliens, brutal⁵ scenes, and amazing arcs, I recommend you, Gantz.

This is the first time that I’ve read a manga entirely (or caught up in this case) before the anime comes out. I finally know how manga readers have felt struggling to not spoil everything and to see the awesome art from the page be made 1000 times more amazing through the animation, sound design, the music choices, everything!
