(Maybe you should read into volleyball rules, just the basics. Some of the reactions i saw in the past from Haikyu were bad, because they never knew which team scored. Its really easy to understand if you just take 5 minutes of your precious time.

If you are close to the person, same age or family, then some do call each other by their first name, nick name or their last name in short, for example many in Karasuno call Sugawara "Suga-san", Tanaka called Nishinoya "Noya-san", and Nishinoya called Tanaka "Ryu" which is Tanaka's first name Ryunosuke cause they are the same age.

Also this show, while slightly exaggerated in how much time the players have to talk, how many steps they take to run across the court, other things that the animators add for drama, is based in reality. This is not the type of show where a player gets good over night and I love it for that.

Kiyoko is an admired character in "Karasuno," and both Nishinoya and Tanaka genuinely admire and worship Kiyoko.

2023-10-26 02:12:04 +0000 UTCsince you seem to have gotten the stuff they explained in these eps pretty well, these right here are just a few little extra notes & fun facts that don't directly have a lot to do with the actual plot: 1. noya's voice actor is VERY famous, so while i don't remember if he's been in any of the anime you've watched so far, you probably heard him anyway at some point bc he's just everywhere. one of his most common roles is bakugou from MHA! - edit: i completely forgot liebe existed...so yeah, you've heard the guy voice liebe in BC! 2. you're right, the "neko" in nekoma, the school they're gonna play, means "cat!" many of the schools in HQ actually have their mascot in their name. nekoma has "neko", and karasuno has the "karasu" in it which means crow. meanwhile, the "aoba" in aoba johsai/seijoh for short (the school they just won against in the last episodes) stands for...green leaf. they're generally represented as plants, lmao looking forward to CG tomorrow!

He voices Liebe from BC and Bakugou from MHA and like many many more. His name is Nobuhiko Okamoto you’ll definitely see him in more animes.
