They’re all just people trying to do the right thing, and it’s cool when people from different ‘sides’ focus on what they need to achieve over resentment. It’s such a bleak look at humanity for most of the show, but these moments shine through so well too.

This admirer is the same to Mikasa, as Mikasa is to Eren. Follows him, cries for him, tries to get closer to him. He doesn't acknowledge it half the time, and in their last meeting he said, "Mikasa, I've always hated you." I wonder if Mikasa is starting to understand what having a clingy admirer is like, maybe she's able to view her actions in a different light.
