I doubt anyone in Marley exactly measured the wall and no one on the mainland knew how big the wall titans are. And the bigger the number is the scarier the story becomes.

The titan that attacks Kaya and that Gabi Kills is Nile, the commander of the Military Police and the guy that escorted Falco to his brother

I think it was about 500.000 in total, so not tens of millions like mentioned in the show, but what the heck does that even matter, right?
