Okay! This piece I did try a few things on it because I found this person art which I really like https://twitter.com/shisantian/status/1414149249365729280
I really like how this picture is so rough, yet it still looks beautiful. So I tried to imitate what they do in this commission work. First is, the detail on the skin. It's so minimal, almost non-existent. It made me realize that I don't need to add detail to the skin that much. I just added some shading to indicate some important anatomy landmarks, that's all.
And another thing is I tried adding less detail on the irises. Usually, I add more than this, but since this is a full-body picture, the face part isn't that much focused, unlike waist-up or headshot.
Overall, I think I'm really satisfied with the amount of detail and roughness in this commission work! I hope I can maintain this for my future works π
