Tandem nursing troubles…

Mommies ask me every day… “why should I tandem nurse and what does it mean?” “Is tandem nursing good for my milk supply?” “What if my child plays with my breast while feeding? Is that normal or weird?” “Why does my baby grab and twist my other nipple while feeding?” “Is it ok to lay on my back to breastfeed?”

So many questions and I have almost all the answers for you my beautiful life giving women here the mothers who are learning and growing with us everyday as we raise our children together.

The families who are here learning and loving together to de-stigmatize breastfeeding and bring back the normalcy of nature intended milk for our children!

In this video part 1 of “tandem nursing lessons” you will see me interacting in real life with my toddlers tandem nursing with examples of what to expect, easy positioning and adorable cuteness being silly with my little ones, sibling rivalry and gentle parenting all in one. Have your questions answered to give you a better understanding and viewpoint to decide wether or not you’d like to take on the challenge of breastfeeding two children at a time or “tandem nursing”

A child drinking a bottle drinking a breast eating from a spoon a bowl a cup or anything is adorable and beautiful. Children are precious and they’re only small for a short time. Documenting their lives while they’re little is so important to capture the precious moments we spend with them to keep our memories for a lifetime. Breastfeeding children are drinking from the source a lot so why shouldn’t a mother be able to document feeding their children just because of the milk source they choose to nourish their little ones?

A moms chest is the safe spot where a child feels most safe and comfortable in their mothers or fathers arms. All chests should be considered equal and no woman should need to cover her chest anywhere a man needn’t cover his chest. Women all over the world should fight for their rights to breastfeed in public at home or anywhere and everywhere and normalize breastfeeding as an acceptable food source not to be looked down upon or shamed in any way.

If our children grow up seeing mothers breastfeeding their babies everywhere and are taught that this is how babies are fed breast-feeding would finally be de-stigmatized and normalized all over the world. It would no longer be frowned upon and women could feel comfortable feeding their babies without fear of judgement or being shamed or haggled from such a simple nature intended act of maternal love. The world would be healthier from all the wonderful health benefits breastmilk has to offer and women of any size would no longer be judged.

I myself have been through so much discrimination because of size and my strong beliefs in human milk for humans and supporting women’s equal rights and mothers breastfeeding rights.

Breastfeeding is not disgusting or perverse. It shouldn’t be controversial. What happened to us as a society to stop supporting each other as the human race to make a better healthier world for all?

Get back to basics because no child should ever go hungry no matter what country they live in. Please feed your child in public and support the breastfeeding movement. Document your breastfeeding life, post it share it and teach about it. Get people to listen, get people to learn. Educate the public and our children in hopes that the next generation will be better of than we were. We did just go through a pandemic!

I wonder what would’ve happened if all children were breastfed except when medically unable to. No child or parent would’ve suffered the ultimate devastating losses and consequences of toxic chemical formulas and the irreversible damage it left behind. My heart goes out to all the parents who have suffered such horrific losses and I pray for them every day.

May we ban together and unite for a better world.

Companies need to be more responsible for the health and well-being of our future generations. More regulations and better education needs to be enforced on safety of formula preparation to prevent these tragedies from ever happening again. Some mothers can’t breastfeed and that’s ok but they should be offered SAFE alternatives and be able to trust the formula companies to deliver safe and reliable milk for our children who for medical reasons can’t breastfeed!

I apologize but once I get going on a topic I have strong opinions about I tend to go on a rant! I feel so strongly and emotionally empathetic about normalizing breastfeeding and breast/chest freedom.

Learn about it. Share your knowledge live it and be the change. I love you and thank you for being you.
