Please read the descriptions with each photo and follow the directions provided in order to relieve engorged breasts and painful pressure on the go. You can bring a bottle or collection device such as a Hakkah pump receptacle in order to collect your hand expressed milk if needed for your child. If your child exclusively breast-feed, and you do not need the milk, but need to relieve the pain you can hand expressing to a sink or a plate.
Don’t forget your breastmilk is liquid gold. You can use it to rub on your face on your skin drink it yourself or save it for your child, rather than throwing away liquid gold down the drain.
This is the technique that I use when I am on the go, and I do not have a pump or the capability to feed my child in emergency situations.
There are many different ways and techniques to hand express your breastmilk . You can hand Xpress, your breastmilk with one hand in a sea shape, kept around your areola, but due to the differences in breasts and extraction, I find it easiest for my type of breast, and the difficulty to extract milk from my breast. I must use two hands for this technique to work for me while gently pushing back on the breast And squeezing the areola in order to get the milk out.
