Tandem nursing for child health…

As y’all probably know, I am really sick right now. I had a really nasty allergic reaction to novocaine after dental work along with fighting a really bad congestive cough and illness. I breastfed both my girls during this time in order to prevent them from catching this really bad upper respiratory infection I have. Luckily it seems to be working. My girls are both well right now and as long as they don’t get exposed to other germs outside of the home before they breast-feed, they will unlikely pick this up. They both are doing really well and neither one of them is coughing. #momwin

Unless your doctor says, and always consult your doctor first breast-feed as much as you can when you are sick because your kids will get the antibodies to the sickness in order for their little bodies to fight it off before it even infects them.

There is a high possibility that your child will not catch your illness or get as sick as you can get because of the antibodies that you are giving them in your precious liquid gold. It is recommended to breast-feed when you are sick in order to keep your children healthy!

So mommies and families feed away! Always speak to your doctor about antibiotics and other medication‘s that go along with illnesses in order to make sure that if you are on any medication it is compatible with breast-feeding there are medication‘s that are dangerous as I have said before I can’t say it enough please always talk to your doctor to make sure that any medication‘s that you might be on or might want to take are safe For your breastfed child.

Como probablemente sabéis, estoy muy enfermo ahora mismo.
