The greatest love of all…

A mother to her child is the greatest love of all. I just love looking in the face of my daughter while she nurses feeling all of that oxytocin love and true, pure love from myself to my child. It is moments like these that I will treasure right now because I know they won’t last long. I know that I’ll be devastated when these days are over, and my children are grown reminiscing on the joy I had raising them.

There is nothing like motherhood. There is no amount of love that could ever be given that could ever amount to the love of a myself to my children and my children to me.

People spoke about this incredible love and all my life I wondered what it was like. Now I’m living it.

You can see and feel from these photos the beautiful energy and adoration of the truest love of all. A mother nurturing her child as nature intended and the kindness and love that comes with it.

Nature provides a mother with the ability to sustain the life of her child by breastfeeding when capable and the hormone to experience this incredible love- Oxytocin.

For those of you who are unable to breast-feed your child, oxytocin can also be found in other forms of affection. Skin to skin contact, placing the child in a diaper or undergarments, while holding them close to your chest, the smell of their foreheads, (yes it’s true!) and peering at their beautiful little faces can also create the release of this love hormone.

The smell of your child’s forehead actually gives off pheromones to parents to signal this hormone release to support your brain chemicals to tell you to nurture and care for your child. It actually activates the reward center of your brain!

So all in all no it’s not weird that you like to smell the top of your children’s heads; although, doesn’t it sound weird? It’s a fact!

Just don’t go around with your nose attached to their heads in public and you’ll be ok! Hahaha 🤣
