It is my belief that nursing my child until she’s ready to wean created a strong mother daughter bond and lets my daughter know that she’s safe nurtured and loved held in my arms close to my bosom where every baby and child feels the most safe and comfortable in the arms of mommy (daddy too)
Babies and children love to lay their heads on a mother or father‘s chest to hear the comforting heartbeat of the parent that can soothe and calm a frightened or upset baby or child.
Rocking your baby or toddler to sleep holding them near your chest so they can listen to your soothing heartbeat is a great way to unwind the day.
