Tandem nursing…

Tandem nursing does wonders for milk supply. Too many people in this world have their own opinions about extended breast-feeding but more and more studies are coming out that show extended breast-feeding is better for mother and children. It creates closer bonds, closer relationships with the children, more comfort from mommy , wonderful nutrients; it helps prevent allergies, diabetes, cancers, and all sorts of things! If every mother chose to breast-feed beyond two years and up this would be the norm. I am here to spread education and knowledge and hopefully give mommies the courage to breast-feed as long as they and their children wish to.

Most mothers that choose extended breast-feeding are so uncomfortable with societies ignorant comments and opinions that they choose to hide behind closed doors and are most uncomfortable breast-feeding in public once the child is past two years old. I have interviewed several mothers that have admitted to feeding their children till 7 8 even 10 years old! They decided to stop breast-feeding when the child decided to stop breast-feeding and that is called baby or child led weaning. Tandem nursing two children at the same time brings on an incredible milk supply! Since we got so sick I just decided to start nursing around the clock again whenever the children asked for it. Now we are all on the mend we were sick for 2 1/2 weeks. My baby got sick first and gave it to me. if I would’ve gotten sick first I doubt my kids would’ve had much symptoms at all because my four-year-old barely got sick at all! she breast-fed the whole time I was sick and didn’t get symptoms till the second week I was sick and very light symptoms compared to the 2yr old baby and I. Stay safe stay well and continue to breast-feed as long as you feel comfortable. Please don’t let society dictate when you should stop feeding your baby it’s your choice for you and your family what’s best. 💕
