Engorged vs Now...
Added 2021-07-17 02:13:54 +0000 UTCAs everyone knows I have been slowing down My Breastfeeding durations and partially weaning my two-year-old and four year old. Today I wanted to share some education with you about what the breast looks like when it is engorged if you can see from the first two pictures you can see the rippling in the breast where the milk ducks are overly filled and if you touch the breast when it is like this it will feel hard with like hard lumps of trapped milk that needs to come out. Once I stopped pumping and my milk ducts became more stabilized it looks like the last picture that I posted you can tell the difference because you no longer see the ripples and the pressure bumps by the nipples. Having engorging breasts is very uncomfortable and can lead to all sorts of problems such as pain and tenderness swelling mastitis leakage and more.
