... can be a challenge because breast-feeding actually alters fertility. Some women can experience a complete loss of menstrual cycle throughout their breast-feeding journey until the baby decides to start to wean which can for some women be six months or even eight years! Since I am at an advanced maternal age I want to start to try to conceive as soon as possible which means I will need to partially wean from breastfeeding π€± to improve our chances of a successful natural conception. One thing I wanted to share with you today is the fertility support vitamins and ovulation support vitamins that I am taking and I have just started taking yesterday. I confirmed with the company that these vitamins are breast-feeding friendly in which they said and I quote βConceive Plus products are generally considered safe to use when breastfeeding, however we advise you speak with your healthcare professional for advice on this.β I get it always talk to your doctor first yes but I have started to take these vitamins and they seem to be OK and compatible so far with our breast-feeding journey. Partially weaning means I can still breast-feed but it will be now only early morning and at night before bed. This will cause my cycle to become more regular and I will have a better chance of being able to conceive our third and last baby. Please keep your fingers crossed and prayers out for us that we successfully conceive a normal healthy baby and another request please is that we get a boy this time. Regardless of the sex of the child male or female the most important thing is that this is a normal healthy pregnancy and normal healthy child and healthy mommy after delivery! End blog.
