When adding fish into your breastmilk diet make sure to only choose low mercury content fish such as salmon shrimp scallops and other low mercury choices. A few High mercury fish examples are albacore tuna and swordfish. Too much mercury can be harmful to your breastmilk. Omegas are important for a babies brain development so it is good to add a few low mercury fish portions per week into your diet while breastfeeding. my kids love to eat fish too!
