What A Cartoon! - The July 2022 Schedule

Hot enough for ya? Cuz this summer has been heating up for The Talking Simpsons Network, as we just passed our fifth year on Patreon. We've got tons of stuff planned to keep the fun rolling, from a surprising first Transformers podcast, to a major Futurama ep, to a covid-caused double dose of King of the Hill, AND the second of three entries in our Disney Renaissance Summer podcast series!

Beast Wars: Transformers - "Code of Hero" [Patreon: 7/4/22 - Free Feed: 7/11/22]

Chosen by premium patron Devin, it's time for our first Transformers podcast, and we chose "monkey" over "truck." Yes, we're going back in time to the surprisingly dramatic and violent Beast Wars, produced by the same animators as ReBoot. In addition to its interesting production, we'll be focusing on what many call the best episode in the series, Dinobot's finest half hour!

The series can be found on free streamers like Tubi, as well as YouTube.

Talking Futurama - "Roswell That Ends Well" [Patreon: 7/11/22]

Futurama's showrunners originally had the rule of "no time travel," but they came up with a story that was so good they had to break that restriction! Yes, we're headed to Roswell, New Mexico for what might be the best Futurama episode ever, and our wonderful guest Nina Matsumoto joins us for this momentous occasion!

TalKing of the Hill - "The Final Shinsult" [Patreon: 7/18/22]

Cotton Hill returns to the show as we cover an episode all about famous legs and Texas history! When Hank has a falling out with his cantankerous father over taking away his driver's license, Cotton finds a suitable surrogate son in Dale. Will Hank be able to reconcile with his dad and reunite him with his large-reared wife? Listen in to find out, plus learn important facts about General Santa Anna! [Ed. note - Covid delayed this one last month so we're posting it in July alongside this month's King of the Hill episode.]

TalKing of the Hill - "Leanne's Saga" [Patreon: 7/18/22]

After hearing so many sad stories about Luanne's troubled upbringing, it's time to finally meet her mother in this big episode. After getting released from jail, Leanne reenters their lives and has a big effect on all of them, especially Bill. But can she stay sober long enough for a happy ending, or will it end in a battle with Peggy? You'll only know if you listen to the podcast!

An Extended Free Preview of What A Cartoon Movie for Beauty and the Beast [Patreon: 7/25/22 - Free Feed: 8/1/22]

The tale as old as time will be told as we sing songs as old as rhyme because it's time for Beauty and the Beast! After last month of showing how The Little Mermaid rekindled the old fairy tale style of Disney, we dig into how the troubled production of this French folklore adaptation turned into one of the most acclaimed animated films of all time. So be our guest and put our service to the test by listening to this month's What A Cartoon Movie podcast!
