In case anyone were wondering about the “what the French say about dating”. It’s “the French rule”. Which is you can only date someone half your age plus 7. So the youngest a 30 year old could date would 22. Btw don’t shoot the messenger, I didn’t invent this, it’s a real adage. There’s also a joke about there being a Thai rule which is half your age minus 7, which I think is a joke about sex tourism. So yeah it’s a depressing world we live in.
