Amazing episode. I could easily listen to a Talking Pokemon podcast any day. It's weird because my first exposure to Pokemon was the anime, and if I recall it was the Dragonite Lighthouse episode, which was aired on SMTV (brits will know what i'm talking about). I instantly dismissed it as weird looking trash.. Then one day my friend lent me a US import of Pokemon Red for the weekend, and my obsession began. Begged my mum to get me Red and Blue for Christmas (in '99) and i've been a Pokemon fan ever since. I almost certainly wouldn't be living in Japan now if it wasn't that exposure. I have a few colleagues that have worked at OLM, but unfortunately my Japanese is still limited, but I'd love to find out more about working at that studio. Recent highlight was watching Ash/Satoshi finally winning league live on TV Tokyo here with my best friend with whom i bonded with over Pokemon.

2019-11-26 04:30:03 +0000 UTCI don't know why Brock wasn't fawning over Officer Jenny in this episode, but he is definitely in love with her in other episodes. He even sings a song about his inability to choose between Officer Jenny and Nurse Joy in the Johto League equivalent to the Pokérap: Pikachu's Jukebox. Speaking of Pokémon music, has anyone brought up Pokémon Live? It was a live (obviously) stage musical that toured in the U.S. I don't think it ever made it up here to Canada, so I never got to see it, but the whole thing has been uploaded to YouTube if you're curious.
