2019-10-09 16:07:21 +0000 UTCre: Teletoon's positioning as the late 90s/early 00s Canadian equivalent of Cartoon Network... Teletoon was a big part of my early adolescence, and since it was a platform to show Canadian-produced animation, it featured some real gems (Cybersix) and some turds (Donkey Kong Country). I'm only now realizing that not everyone grew up with Teletoon, and such, would like to suggest a cursory web search of Teletoon hits for anyone who did not experience them. There's bound to be at least a few interesting and worthwhile works to be found.

2019-09-29 23:52:19 +0000 UTCCanadian here! Where I lived, Cybersix aired on Teletoon. The only people I knew around here with Cartoon Network were the ones who had satellite and could get the American version. There is definitely a Canadian Cartoon Network nowadays, even though Teletoon shows a lot of the same things...but I guess on CN they don't have to share time with Teletoon originals and shows acquired from elsewhere? Maybe? Cable TV doesn't really make any sense anymore.
