Technical difficulties
Added 2022-07-20 00:31:20 +0000 UTCSo, recently I bought a bunch of parts to upgrade / rebuild my PC because I wanted to get better performance from my creative software, and be able to get smoother performance while doing my streams on Picarto (and if you haven't already, you should consider giving me a follow!). Unfortunately I ran into some trouble. I though I'd have my computer put back together and be drawing and streaming again by tomorrow, but the adapter plate I bought for my old CPU waterblock does not actually support the current-generation AMD CPU socket, so I can't put my water cooling system back together and get my PC working again.
In less technical terms, I bought a cheap $15 adapter part that I though would let me use a part that I already owned, but it was the wrong size so I had to order a much more expensive replacement part and now I'm basically $80 overbudget and I won't have my PC put back together and useable until Friday at the earliest. I'll try and use this downtime to do some important stuff I've been putting off like getting my workspace cleaned up, but yeah, it sucks that I couldn't get the adapter piece I needed but there's not much else I can do. I have my laptop but my the time I get it set up for drawing and streaming I'll have my regular computer back anyway. I apologize for the delay and thank you for your patience and support.
