Upon reflection he's a pretty great villain tbh. The fact his actions align with the benefit of Konoha and the fact he sticks to his ideals untill the very end make him unqiue.

2025-09-28 18:58:50 +0000 UTCI feel like Danzo coped with his cowardice by convincing himself that the Leaf benefits from him being alive and an authoritative figure. And because he couldn't let go of the fact that Sarutobi was actually everything he wanted himself to be, he made it his life's mission to do everything opposite to Sarutobi to prove that his way was better. Also, Danzo isn't considered a Hokage because he was still going through the approval stages but someone had to attend the 5 Kage Summit Fyi, Shisui isn't much older than Itachi. If he stayed alive he'd probably be a similar age to Kakashi
